Songs for the summer!

Are you ready to get your tan on?? Relax a little?? I know I am. This summer I have been invited to travel and visit some really awesome places. I'll share them along the way. In the meantime, here are some summer related songs for you to enjoy!!

A visit to Halifax, Nova Scotia- worth the trip??

I have the opportunity to visit Halifax, Nova Scotia this summer. I'm really not sure what to expect as I've only ever travelled around my own province of Ontario here in Canada. What are the people going to be like, and what am I going to do while I'm there? These are only just a few questions I have about this place. I 'm really not sure what to expect. As my boyfriend is completing his final MBA course at Dalhousie Univeristy, I will be travelling around the area with his 14 year old daughter. We are subletting a place minutes away from the univeristy. The lady we are subletting from mentioned that we are walking distance from downtown and a grocery store. This is important to me as I purposely decided to sublet a place rather than book a hotel so that I can cook throughout the week in case we weren't in walking distance from restaurants and fast food joints.  I am currently looking on their tourism website to see what there is to do while we are out there. School's out for summer!!!

Well it's finally here!!...I have been waiting this entire school year to be finally over so that I can start to unwind and take in some time for myself. After all of the hustle and bustle of teaching this school year, I have been awaiting some time to travel and spend time with family and friends.

Today is the 1st of July. I will be spending it with my boyfriend and my best friend today. No time like the present to BBQ in the backyard and kickback in the hot tub. The plan is to hand out in Chicago for the 4th of July...possibly visiting with my longtime friend Courtney (aka Courtley) and then home with family for a couple weeks before heading off to Florida.

This summer's blogging will consist of awesome adventures I will partake in as well as restaurant reviews along my journey. I hope you enjoy your time visiting my blog.
