The word on Olay Total Effects

I just started to religiously test out Olay's Total effects 7 in one a couple weeks ago. I really wanted to give it a fair and honest try as my complexion has always been something that I valued very much. Sadly, this last month has taken it's toll on me emotionally. People have commented on how tired-looking and out of character I was looking. They said that they could "see it on [my] face" that I was not myself. As the stresses of work and my emotional situations in life continued to escalate (due to a break up after 7 years and having 6 people in my life pass away within the past 30 days) I haven't been taking care of myself the way I normally would. One day a couple weeks back I woke up and decided that I needed to turn things around for myself. I decided that I would try to do something for myself. I notice that when you're down in the dumps you tend to nit pick flaws...mine were on my face. I needed to turn things around for myself. I decided to finally try out my Total effects 7 in 1 trial package. I figured that it wouldn't hurt and definitely wasn't expecting to see ANY changes...perhaps just softer skin. I had a friend invite me to a 30th birthday party. We were having high tea. I hadn't seen most of these ladies since the funeral of my friend last month. A lot of them had commented that I looked really tired the day of the funeral. Some suggesting that I should even take time off work. I was expecting to hear the same thing at this party as I was feeling just as 'defeated' and 'tired' as I did the day of the funeral. One of my most observant friends said that she noticed that I looked less 'pale' and more like myself at this party. Another lady chimed in and said that she couldn't pin point what was different about me but she said I looked less tired. I couldn't think of what had changed EXCEPT that I had tried out this new Olay product. Could it be? As I took a picture of my terrible skin a couple weeks back I decided to take another one of myself today...and wow, what a difference. The dark spots under my eyes have faded...my skin is less bumpy and the colouring is more vibrant on my face. Coming from a non believer of 'miracle' products I am now more inclined to continue the use of this product as even in a short timespan I am seeing some differences. I am amazed to see some changes in my skin and would absolutely recommend this product to anyone who may be a pessimist about skin products.

Enjoy the sites of Los Cabos Mexico

Whether you're looking to get married; celebrate a birthday/anniversary or just wanting a getaway vacation, Los Cabos Mexico is a BEAUTIFUL place to visit. I had the opportunity to stay at the Dreams Suites Golf Resort and Spa  in a junior suite with an ocean view. The rooms are spacious and very clean. I was also very impressed with the service from the front desk right up to the service on the beach.

As a first timer at any type of resort I wasn't sure what to expect but was amazed by how friendly and helpful the staff were on the resort. I was warned by many who have stayed in different resorts in Mexico that I should be wary of locals who constantly bombard guests around the beaches selling trinkets or pushing to braid your hair for a fee.  At Dreams I didn't experience any of these issues as the beach is private and protected.

I thoroughly enjoyed the daily activities provided by the resort. The children who travelled with us spent most of their days at the resort's child minding camp where they participated in active games and activities such as swimming, dance, arts/ crafts and bungee.

Many activities provided by the resort were family friendly and great for people of all ages.  One of my FAVOURITE activities was releasing sea turtles, karaoke and beachball volleyball. What a dream come true! If there wasn't an activity that was provided by the resort, they happily directed you to companies such as Sunquest that booked day trips for scuba diving; swimming with dolphins; visiting the local city or deep sea fishing.

An infinity pool was located right in the middle of the resort where you could play volleyball without distracting those lounging in the pool or swim up to the walk up bar to grab an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage.  For those who preferred a kid free environment, there was also an adults only pool surrounded by beautiful palm trees and hammocks.

The food was surprisingly very good and the selection of restaurants ranged from Italian cuisine to Asian cuisine or even surf and turf. Nightly entertainment ranged from fire throwers to magic or music.

Whether you are travelling as a family or alone, Los Cabos is a beautiful place to be. I give the resort 4 stars!

Magic Mike is Magical!!

So it was my BFF's birthday and so as part of her present she could choose whatever movie she'd like to see in theatres. She chose Magic Mike. Certainly not my first choice but she's the birthday girl so I reluctantly went. You see, I'm not a fan of Channing Tatum but I thought it would be entertaining to get a bunch of my girls together to have a girls night as well so thats what we did.

SO... Ladies (and some men) here's my take on the movie.
Storyline: Terrible---really slow paced and unfinished
Actors: One word----DAMN!!

Channing Tatum, I'm sorry I never ever saw you in anything else before---but I've now got one word and two phrases for you---DAMN!

That boy has got a butt you wanna be grabbing ALL OF THE TIME!!

A great girls night movie just don't expect a riveting story line---The end!!
